After visiting our host school Srednja šola za gostinstvo in turizem Celje, where students and associates in the project welcomed partners from TUSDU and Center for Education "Slava Raškaj" Zagreb, there was organized a tour of the city where our students enjoyed the beauties of the city, sightseeing of the most important monuments and institutions.

As part of Zero Waste Power in HoReCa, the students of TUŠ DU participated in a workshop organized by the leading Slovenian NGO "Ecologists without Borders" (Ecologists without Borders), which, among other things, deals with efficient use of resources and activation of citizens in environmental protection.

Visiting restaurants Špica, Oštirka, Koper, Francl, Hotel Evropa, tools used in the form of surveys, application of zero waste strategies in the field of cuisine, serving, energy use and packaging.

Lecture on self-sufficiency and the circular economy done by Dr. Ana Vovk from the International Center for Self-Sustainability Dole pri Poljčaneh, self-sustainable economy and houses.

Presentations of survey results in catering facilities, ideas for the possibility of improving and introducing strategies for environmental protection, devising ideas for reducing food waste on a plate.
